What you do:
The Product Manager UK Broker drives the commercial performance, sustainability, and growth of this dynamic strategic growth segment. The role contributes to account-centric product strategy, provides product input for RFPs and tenders, supports strategic partner renewals, and plays an active role in portfolio optimization and product transformation initiatives. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Underwriting, Marketing, Deployment, and Governance, the role supports compliant offer design, commercial decision-making, and continuous improvement of the customer experience.
UK Broker Channel Support & Portfolio Growth:
- Support the commercial performance, sustainability, and growth of the product portfolio for UK Broker segment and other key Europe and APAC accounts.
- Provide product input to high-value RFPs and tenders, ensuring competitive positioning and compliance alignment.
Commercial Offer Development:
- Prepare the definition and structuring of competitive commercial offers for new and existing partners across European and APAC markets.
- Ensure offer design reflects market trends, distribution models, regulatory requirements, and customer needs, in line with product strategy and PDD standards.
- Assist with deviation management for product-related topics, coordinating with Product Governance and Underwriting to assess impact, initiate Significant Change or new-process requests, and ensure compliant execution.
- Provide product expertise to support Underwriting in the assessment and approval of ASU deviations for strategic partners.
Product Development & SME:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product design, evolution, and portfolio rationalization across Europe and APAC.
- Provide input and direction to Product Development teams for new product concepts and enhancements to existing offerings.
- Coordinate Significant Change Product processes, ensuring adherence to internal standards, governance requirements, and regulatory expectations throughout the product lifecycle.
Cross-Functional & Go-To-Market Contribution:
- Partner closely with Sales, Underwriting, Marketing, Deployment, and Governance to ensure aligned product delivery and successful go-to-market execution.
- Support broader Product initiatives as required, in alignment with the Head of Product Management Europe/APAC.
- Leverage native language skills to support localization, partner communication, documentation accuracy, and customer clarity in local markets.
What you bring:
- 3+ years experience in Product, UW, Operations or similar function, travel insurance and broker channel experience preferable.
- Solid understanding of insurance industry & regulatory environment.
- Strong knowledge of Travel Product Portfolio and ability to interpret and communicate insurance T&C.
- Understanding of the impact of product components across different functions.
- Ability to make data driven decisions and orientation to delivery of KPIs.
- Communication fitting to respective stakeholders including influencing and presenting (in English).
- Structured Problem Solving using appropriate tools.
- International agility (ability to operate across multiple regions and cultural contexts).
- Project and time management (prioritization, planning).
