Overview
As Sourcing Manager in the Claims Legal and Technical category, you own subcategory strategy and independently drive complex sourcing initiatives. You partner with Claims, Legal and Compliance to secure optimal commercial outcomes and manage risk in a high-stakes spend area. You’ll influence external law firms and technical providers, shape supplier contracts, and advance sustainability and innovation. This role offers visible impact through strategic sourcing across a key business function with travel and hybrid work.

Responsibilities
- Own key subcategories within Claims Legal and Technical, shaping strategy and executing independently
- Lead complex sourcing projects, tenders, and negotiations to optimize cost and value
- Collaborate with SRM partners to embed performance measurement and innovation in contracts
- Build strong relationships with Claims, Legal and Compliance stakeholders as their procurement partner
- Drive supplier innovation via proactive market engagement with SRM
- Manage risk across the legal supply chain by early issue identification and mitigation
- Champion sustainability and ethical sourcing aligned with Allianz CSR commitments
- Meet savings, KPI and value-add targets year over year
Key requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management
- Claims Legal experience with panel management and understanding of law firms and the claim journey
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proven ability to independently create and execute category strategies
- Excellent stakeholder management with ability to influence up to SLT/Exco
- Solid analytical skills with data/spend analysis to drive decisions
- Knowledge of sourcing best practices and experience with modern procurement systems
