Role Description: Do you have an interest in Real Estate Underwriting and want to be part of a growing, dynamic team? We’re currently looking for an Assistant Underwriter to join our team and help shape the future of our underwriting capabilities. This role is a hybrid role based from our London office.

Salary Information
Pay: Circa £31,500 per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You

  • Building strong relationships with brokers, negotiating effectively, and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Working as part of a close-knit team to offer renewal terms before deadlines, along with mid-term adjustments, survey preparation, and other types of policy transaction as needed.
  • Checking and issuing client documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Learning about different areas of the business from industry-leading Underwriters.
  • Supporting wider teams by being proactive, enthusiastic, and willing to step outside your comfort zone.
  • Contributing ideas to drive continuous improvement in an ever-changing environment.
  • Enthusiasm for personal and professional development.
  • Proactive approach and willingness to take initiative within a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with good analytical skills.
