An exciting opportunity to join the London Office Commercial Motor team as a Motor Underwriter. You will play an active role in driving forward the Branch Motor account in terms of growth and profitability, including handling New Business, Renewals and mid-term amendments while maintaining underwriting integrity.
Responsibilities
- Pro-actively manage, maintain and grow current relationships and create new contacts by promoting a positive impression of Allianz while actively listening to customer needs and delivering great customer service.
- Deliver financial and service KPIβs and understand your own panel performance drivers, quickly identifying solutions to address issues or exploit opportunities.
- Support and adopt change within the team and mobilise others to embrace change.
Skills & Experience
- At least 2 years Motor underwriting experience (essential), preferably within the London market.
- Ability to manage and own Broker relationships and some experience of Large Case Management.
- Good stakeholder management ability and adaptable communication styles (verbal, written, face to face).
- Excellent trading and negotiation skills.
- Dip CII qualified or progressing towards.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and Salesforce.
