12 month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave.

This is an excellent opportunity if you have experience in Media, Campaigns and Events and a passion for pets to join the Allianz Specialty Marketing team to maximise Petplan’s brand awareness and help retain our position as the UK’s No.1 pet insurer.

Location: Datchet, Slough (hybrid – 1 to 2 times per month in the office)

Salary Information: Circa 40k. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You: You will be reporting to the Advertising Manager supporting Above The Line (ATL) media execution and leading marketing campaigns, PR, sponsorship and events to help deliver sales for our dog, cat, rabbit and horse insurance products.

  • Collaborating with the media agency and internal/external stakeholders to support delivery of ATL media and business KPIs.
  • Delivering the campaign calendar including nomination campaigns for Petplan’s Veterinary Awards and Animal Charity Awards, working with internal stakeholders and agencies and ensuring activity is delivered on time and within budget and achieves KPIs.
  • Campaign reporting and data analysis.
  • Working on PR campaigns as required and leading digital PR activity to support SEO strategy.
  • Lead external B2C events and sponsorship activity.
  • Copy writing and reviewing content for a range of different communications such as articles, customer communications and digital advertising.
  • Support the production of social media assets, advertising, imagery and content inline with business objectives.
  • Optimisation of campaign/advertising performance to drive increased response/sales.
  • Management of campaign/event/PR budgets.
  • Deputise for the Advertising Manager when required.

  • Enthusiastic about brands and communication, keeping up-to-date with what is happening in the field of marketing.
  • You’ll have evidence of success in combining commercial awareness/acumen with creative flair.
  • Good organisational and planning skills with a natural ability to work cross functionally, communicate clearly and lead others are essential for this role.
