We’re looking for a high-performing Underwriter with deep expertise in Property and Casualty to drive growth and deliver results from our Manchester office. This is a hybrid role which involves working from home combined with a minimum of 2-3 days per week in our Manchester office.

Salary Information

Pay: Circa £38,000 per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You

  • Take ownership of major deals, using your expertise to win and retain strategic accounts that drive growth.
  • Develop trusted partnerships with brokers, leveraging collaboration to unlock new opportunities and strengthen market presence.
  • Represent the business confidently through face-to-face engagement, networking, and active participation in industry events.
  • Support team development by guiding peers, reviewing referrals, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service.
  • Work closely with internal departments to streamline processes and deliver seamless, client-focused solutions.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for priority clients, anticipating needs and delivering tailored, responsive support.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in underwriting Property and Casualty risks.
  • Track record of dealing with new or existing cases.
  • Proven ability to manage broker relationships that fuel growth and long-term retention.
