You’ll participate in the Allianz Global P&C Academy, enhancing your skills in underwriting, risk engineering, pricing, and claims management while exchanging best practices across the Allianz Group. About You
As our Property & Casualty Underwriter, you’ll:
- Take ownership of major deals, using your expertise to win and retain strategic accounts that drive growth.
- Develop trusted partnerships with brokers, leveraging collaboration to unlock new opportunities and strengthen market presence.
- Represent the business confidently through face‑to‑face engagement, networking, and active participation in industry events.
- Support team development by guiding peers, reviewing referrals, and ensuring consistent delivery of high‑quality service.
- Work closely with internal departments to streamline processes and deliver seamless, client‑focused solutions.
- Act as a reliable point of contact for priority clients, anticipating needs and delivering tailored, responsive support.
Essential Skills
- Experience of underwriting commercial lines risks.
- Track record of dealing with large and/or complex risks and cases.
- Ability to manage broker relationships that fuel growth and long‑term retention.
Desirable Skills
- Experience of underwriting Property and/or Casualty risks.
- Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage.
