As the Digital Operations Lead, you will be responsible for managing inbound digital demand and ensuring operational excellence across the Digital Centre of Excellence (DCoE). The role focuses on demand intake, pipeline management, service excellence, and delivery governance to ensure digital initiatives are effectively assessed, prioritised, and progressed.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the end-to-end intake and prioritised pipeline of digital opportunities within the Digital CoE.
- Establish and facilitate solution triage forums to assess demand, value, feasibility, and delivery approach across multiple technologies.
- Collaborate with business areas and key stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and prioritise digital initiatives in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Ensure effective operational governance and administrative discipline across digital delivery activities.
- Coordinate with delivery leads and teams to plan, manage, and optimise resource capacity and allocation.
- Support scheduling, sequencing, and dependency management of approved initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of digital initiatives with overall business strategy, value outcomes, and CoE standards.
- Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and performance of digital initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Drive process simplification and continuous improvement, applying Lean and Six Sigma principles where appropriate.
- Support and reinforce agile ways of working, ensuring consistent use of agile ceremonies, artefacts, and delivery tools.
- Maintain transparency through clear reporting on pipeline health, delivery status, and operational performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in a digital operations, delivery support, enablement, or portfolio role within a digital or technology-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of agile ways of working, including Scrum and SAFe, and using agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Experience managing inbound demand, prioritisation, triage, and delivery pipelines.
- Demonstrated capability in administration, coordination, and operational governance.
- Experience in resource and capacity management across multiple initiatives or teams.
- Background in process analysis, business process improvement, or operational excellence.
- Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with value canvases, business cases, and strategic documentation.
