Job Purpose
The Senior Operations and IT Risk & Governance Analyst plays a key role in ensuring IT, Cyber, Data, Digital, Property, Protection and Resilience risks are effectively identified, managed and controlled in line with Allianz UK’s risk appetite, regulatory obligations and Group standards. The role supports robust governance, assurance, and a strong culture of risk awareness across the Operations and IT (OpsIT) environment.
Salary Information
Pay: Circa £52,500 per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
Key Responsibilities
- Support internal and external audits of OpsIT general controls.
- Identify, assess, monitor and report OpsIT risks and control effectiveness.
- Maintain OpsIT risk registers and work with risk owners to deliver timely remediation.
- Perform risk assessments and control testing in line with defined methodologies.
- Provide assurance and governance oversight of OpsIT service providers and third parties.
- Deliver risk education and promote a strong risk culture across OpsIT.
Skills And Experience
- Strong experience in risk management and governance within a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT, NIST and ITIL.
- Ability to articulate complex risk issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Demonstrable experience of governing and ensuring compliance to regulatory and other requirements.
- Working with financial services regulators and/or other relevant external stakeholders.
- Experience of working in a global organisation, balancing global and local requirements.
- Well versed in establishing internal and external relationships, ideally in a federated organisation.
- Responsible Artificial Intelligence use.
