Role Description
We’re seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Brand Manager to join our brand management team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing our Allianz brands within the UK personal and commercial lines market, enhancing the positioning, growth, and overall success of our brand portfolio. You’ll monitor our brand health, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, develop innovative campaigns and ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.
You’ll ideally have a strong background in brand management, consumer insights, and strategic marketing, with a passion for building and nurturing brand equity in a competitive market.
This role is a hybrid role, based in our Guildford or London office.
Salary Information
Pay: Circa £65,000 per year. Salary is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
Brand Strategy Execution
- Work with the Head of Brand to deliver on our brand strategy objectives to drive growth and market share.
- Support the team in embedding brand positioning, messaging, and identity across all channels.
- Monitor and translate market trends, consumer insights, and competitive analysis into actionable brand plans.
- Own the setting, managing and reporting deliverables and KPIs.
- Project management for any initiatives and activities that support delivery of brand strategy KPIs.
Brand Health & Performance Tracking
- Oversee the monitoring of brand performance metrics to stakeholders, including Senior Management, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Conduct regular brand health assessments, consumer research, and competitor benchmarking to identify growth opportunities.
Brand Campaign Development And Delivery
- Lead the end‑to‑end development of integrated brand marketing campaigns for personal and commercial lines.
- Support the Advertising Manager in the creation of an ATL campaign for the personal lines market.
- Ensure campaigns are aligned with brand goals, resonate with target audiences, and deliver measurable results across multiple channels.
Reputation Management
- Work with the PR team to oversee safeguarding of the brand’s reputation, support crisis management, and proactively protect our brand from potential risks.
Budget Management
- Manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.
Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external agencies to ensure the timely and effective execution of brand initiatives.
- Work with the internal teams across the business to ensure consistency and delivery of our brand goals.
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience in brand management and delivering multi‑channel marketing initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to align brand strategy with commercial business goals.
- Strong analytical capability to interpret market research, consumer insights and performance data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
- Data‑driven approach with experience tracking, analysing and optimising brand performance metrics.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organisational skills.
- Experience managing agency relationships and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Strong leadership capability with experience supporting and developing others.
- Familiarity with brand tracking tools, analytics platforms, and digital marketing technologies.
Desirable Skills
- Experience within insurance or financial services.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or other creative tools.
- Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage.
