In this role you will provide enterprise Transformation Portfolio Management (eTMO) leadership in shaping, establishing and delivering the Change Roadmap for the Allianz Personal business. The role reports into the Head of eTMO for the UK business. In addition, you will also be accountable for implementation and adoption of the Change Delivery Framework (Ways of Working), the control environment, technical capability management and change management and the Portfolio Management Office, and Strategic Portfolio Management tool within AzP, helping to ensure we undertake the right activity and that we are delivering strong customer outcomes.

A key focus will be to provide leadership and direction to the various teams in order to drive simplification, consistency, prioritization and benefits realization whilst continuing to ensure we protect our customers and fulfil our wider obligations (e.g. Regulatory, Group etc.).

Key Accountabilities

  • Efficiently and effectively deliver the desired outcomes from the overall investment in change activity across Allianz Personal, working collaboratively with the Head of Change, Change leadership teams and key Business stakeholders. This includes Strategy & Investment Funding / Decision Making and managing the Change budget (c£40m).
  • Stakeholder Management, engaging with and providing advice to Allianz Personal Leadership team to shape and own the future roadmap of Change.
  • Manage annual planning dialogue for Allianz Personal, working closely with the Head of Change and Business stakeholders, ensuring that investment is aligned with strategic aspirations, balanced against the broader UK change agenda.
  • Play a critical role in triage of new investment to establish strategic alignment, roadmap impacts, and options to deliver, driving effective decision making for Allianz Personal Leadership.
  • Champion and lead prioritization of initiatives inline with UK standards, ensuring that Allianz Personal Leadership team are actively reviewing and refining to help inform prioritization of funding and resource.
  • Reporting up to Change Investment Committee (CIC) to drive insight into Allianz Personal change roadmap such as key delivery progress, key risks and issues and critical milestone tracking.
  • Facilitate papers into Board/ExCo/CIC to ensure alignment with governance processes and provide insight where needed.
  • Champion and drive approval on our recommendation to implement our preferred partner to supply a Strategic Portfolio Management Tool for Allianz UK.
  • Work across the eTMO building Capabilities and delivery across the wider business.
  • The development of the Change Delivery Framework, Ways of Working & Controls within Lean Governance, driving simplification and productivity gains, whilst continuing to ensure we protect our customers and fulfil our wider obligations (e.g. Regulatory, Group etc.).
  • Plans across multiple years to ensure the change function is designed to support the future strategic needs of the OE through effective strategic workforce planning.
  • Lead and develop the AzP eTMO team, providing critical oversight and insight across the portfolio of Change that includes delivery performance and financial metrics.
  • Provides oversight and assistance to support resolution of portfolio wide risks, dependencies and issues.
  • Provide consultancy and help to define and shape any significant transformation change (e.g. M&A, Partnerships, new strategic initiatives).
  • Supports engagement across Business Change teams and the wider organizational perception of ‘how change is managed here’.
