We’re looking for an ambitious pricing professional who wants to grow their expertise in a role with strong learning and development support. We have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join our Non-Standard Motor Risk Selection team. This is a hybrid role, with the flexibility to be based from our London or Chelmsford offices.
As a Pricing Analyst, you will support our decision making by carrying out statistical analysis and making recommendations to stakeholders to improve the pricing and products we offer to our customers and brokers. Be part of a team that’s driving innovation!

- Support the monitoring of retail account performance by producing regular reporting, using a range of statistical measures.
- Interpret the output of reports and communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences, highlighting key trends to stakeholders.
- Use coding and data manipulation skills to carry out and deliver pricing analysis using a variety of software including Databricks, Radar and Excel.
- Come up with pricing recommendations and present these to stakeholders for approval.
- Consider the impact of proposals on our customers and appropriately document work for implementation.
- Deliver reports, analysis and rate changes to agreed business timescales.
- Work across various departments to implement rate changes into production.
- Collaborate with the wider Pricing team to understand best practices and keep aligned with the best ways of working.

- An analytical mind with a keen interest in data and making data-led decisions.

- Good communication skills, with the ability to present your ideas to stakeholders from around the business.
We're open to candidates with a range of experience and backgrounds: you might be a new graduate with a numerical or analytical degree, a career changer looking to move into an analytical role, or have self-taught coding skills which you want to put to use in a new role. We don't expect you to know everything from day one, but the following is desirable:
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience in learning one or more programming languages such as SQL, Python, R or Databricks.
- Knowledge of relevant statistical techniques and modelling methods.
- An interest in relevant machine learning techniques such as GBMs.
- Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage.
