An exciting opportunity for a Senior Property and Casualty Mobile Underwriter to join the Bristol branch on a hybrid basis. You will play an active role in developing the branch account in terms of growth and profitability through negotiating and securing profitable business in Somerset, Devon & Cornwall.
You will be responsible for underwriting cases including analysis and compilation of data for referral, forming and developing broker and branch relationships to drive growth and have the ability to build rapport with and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Participants may join the Global P&C Academy accreditation, enhancing skills in underwriting, risk engineering, pricing, and claims management while exchanging best practices across the Allianz Group. For pricing-based roles, Allianz Insurance offers a generous study package to enable the actuarial qualification through the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK. The team values continuous learning with access to training platforms and regular knowledge-sharing sessions.
Salary Information
Pay: Circa £60,000 per year + Company Car. Salary is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

As a Senior Property & Casualty Underwriter, your responsibilities will include:

- Property and Casualty commercial underwriting experience
- The ability to build, develop and maintain positive broker relationships

- An awareness of how digital and branch underwriting will work together as part of a wider team

- Strong capability for teamwork
