As an Operational Resilience Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering and continuously improving our Operational Resilience framework. You will take ownership of specific components such as Important Business Services, mapping and self‑assessments, ensuring they are maintained, embedded and aligned with regulatory and Group requirements. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will apply your practical experience to support delivery, ensure activities are completed to a high standard, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our resilience approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain defined elements of the UK Operational Resilience framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory and Group requirements.
- Support and enhance the Operational Resilience function, advising on regulatory requirements and best practice, and providing quality assurance and governance to ensure compliance reporting.
- Provide ongoing Operational Resilience operational support, guidance and subject‑matter expertise to stakeholders, supporting implementation of key initiatives.
- Collaborate with relevant teams such as Business Continuity, IT Service Continuity Management, Compliance and Risk to integrate Operational Resilience considerations into the overall operational model.
- Enhance the resilience culture across Allianz UK through initiatives to promote operational resilience and training sessions.
- Own and deliver periodic reviews of Important Business Services, impact tolerances, mapping, controls and self‑assessments, including the Non‑Financial Risk Management activity.
- Own and progress audit and compliance actions for Operational Resilience, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Experience
- Proven hands‑on experience in operational resilience within a regulated environment.
- Experience delivering key components of an operational resilience framework, such as Important Business Services, impact tolerances, mapping and self‑assessments.
- Good working knowledge of UK Operational Resilience regulation and expectations, with the ability to apply this in practice.
- Experience supporting or delivering regulatory or audit activity related to resilience.
- Able to take ownership of deliverables and see activities through to completion.
- Experience working with stakeholders across business and technology teams.
- Experience in financial services or a similarly regulated industry (preferred).
