The Marketing & Communications Officer plays a key role in developing and delivering integrated marketing and communication activity that strengthens the Allianz UK brand, supports business goals, and enhances customer engagement. This hybrid role based in Bournemouth involves specialist expertise in campaign planning, communications delivery and performance measurement across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and deliver marketing and communication tactics that support wider business and brand objectives.
  • Ensure all activities follow Allianz brand, governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver digital‑first marketing and communication activities using an optimal mix of channels.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on campaign effectiveness, providing clear insights and optimisation recommendations.
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of customer and campaign data in line with Allianz data governance and GDPR requirements.
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues or reputational considerations, and support proactive reputation management through consistent high‑quality communication delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Marketing, Communications, Digital, Distribution and Operations, building trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Contribute to crafting customer value propositions and communications that reflect Allianz UK’s tone of voice, championing customer needs and enhancing experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience constructing presentations for Board and Executive audiences; experience in marketing, communications, customer experience or similar customer‑focused roles.
  • Experience delivering digital and offline marketing activity.
  • Strong market and customer insights skills, capable of analysis, interpretation and application.
  • Experience in tactical marketing and communication planning.
  • Digital marketing capability (e.g., social, email, paid digital, content platforms).
  • Measuring and monitoring marketing effectiveness.
  • Customer‑centric content development.
  • Reputation and risk awareness.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project and stakeholder management.

  • Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage.
