As a Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent financial and risk controlling within our organisation. You will collaborate closely with the Finance Competence Centre to address local specific reporting requirements while aligning with standardized Region/Group reporting. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our financial processes and supporting strategic decision‑making.
What The Role Involves
- Control financial numbers and compare them to the reality of the business.
- Manage and update the local business reporting system using standard reporting templates.
- Contribute to the budget process and finance part of ‘country review.’
- Handle local cost controlling and follow up on ad‑hoc requests for information and analyses.
- Define and monitor KPIs.
Cooperation With Regional Competence Center
- Collaborate with the Finance Competence Center and interface with local BU in areas such as Record to Report, technical accounting, and Procure to Pay.
Financial Accounting
- Assist with preparation of Statutory Accounts in accordance with FRS 101/UK GAAP.
- Assist with statutory audit.
- Assist with the review of annual corporation tax returns and other external reporting requirements.
Market Knowledge
- Understanding of market basics and regulatory environment.
Business Expertise
- Strong knowledge of accounting rules and confirmed technical knowledge of finance systems.
Interpersonal Skills
- Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills.
- 3‑5 years of experience in reporting/controlling or similar function.
- Analytical and detail‑oriented approach.
- Pragmatism and accuracy in execution.
- Proactiveness and ability to work autonomously.
