An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pricing Release Manager to join our newly formed Commercial Pricing Technology team. In this role, we are looking for someone who is eager to join a new team that will play a pivotal role in enabling advanced pricing capabilities.

The Release Manager will foster collaboration between Pricing, Technology, Change and Testing teams and ensure the quick, efficient and accurate release of market leading pricing and analytical solutions for our Digitally Traded lines of business.

You\’ll participate in the Global P&C Academy accreditation, enhancing your skills in underwriting, risk engineering, pricing, and claims management while exchanging best practices across the Allianz Group. Furthermore, for pricing-based roles, Allianz Insurance offers a generous study package to enable the actuarial qualification to be obtained through the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK.

About You

As the Pricing Release Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the deployment and testing governance processes, implementing improvements and maintaining rigorous quality assurance standards to ensure that all pricing solutions meet the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.
  • Establishing and maintaining robust model governance frameworks and version control systems that facilitate efficient parallel development.
  • Defining governance policies, implementing version control tools, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Designing and executing test plans, identifying and rectifying defects, conducting regular audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to continuously improve quality processes.
  • Collaborating with development teams to manage model changes, track versions, and resolve conflicts, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with project timelines and objectives.
  • Designing and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and governance structures to streamline software development and deployment.
  • Managing Level 3 pricing defect triage and coordination, providing expert analysis and resolution of complex pricing issues. Coordinating with technical and business teams to identify root causes and implementing corrective actions to minimize impact on operations.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience of working with Radar Live implementations in an agile environment.
  • Experience and understanding of Commercial Lines insurance, product, and pricing.
  • Experience working on cross-team/department projects to achieve a common goal.
  • Ability to communicate findings to a technical and non-technical audience.
  • Business acumen as well as an understanding of the insurance sector.
  • A high degree of numerical ability.
