Are you a talented actuary or data scientist passionate about building sophisticated pricing models that make a real difference? We’re looking for an experienced Pricing & Actuarial Expert to help shape innovative pricing strategies on a global scale.

About The Role

As part of our international team, you’ll be at the forefront of developing cutting‑edge actuarial and machine learning models that drive our pricing strategy. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical excellence with business impact, working collaboratively across functions to deliver pricing solutions that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data exploration & analysis: analyse, interpret, and prepare complex insurance datasets, ensuring data quality and appropriateness for actuarial modelling and insights.
  • Model development & innovation: develop and maintain advanced actuarial and machine‑learning pricing models; research and validate underlying actuarial assumptions for robust models; contribute to innovation across pricing and underwriting functions.
  • Insights & communication: translate complex data insights and pricing results into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders; bridge the gap between analytics and underwriting teams.
  • Governance & reporting: produce high‑quality rate monitoring reports with comprehensive audit trail documentation; build and monitor pricing reserving development and predicted loss ratios.
  • Pricing tools & systems: support ongoing development, maintenance, and validation of pricing tools and systems.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration: work closely with global underwriters, finance, operations, and network teams to deliver integrated pricing solutions.
  • Data/AI: drive innovation and create new business opportunities by utilising generative AI and emerging technologies; optimise data flow and storage across systems through effective data management.

Essential – What You Bring

  • Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in actuarial science or management.
  • Strong Python programming skills (essential).
  • Expertise in large‑scale data management and analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a global, collaborative environment.
  • Driven, hands‑on mindset with a passion for problem‑solving.

Preferred

  • Actuarial pricing or data science modelling experience.
  • Reserving experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel VBA, WTW RADAR, and Emblem.
  • Actuarial qualifications or progress toward professional certification.
