Create a portfolio of new direct Individual health customers to meet individual, team and global direct sales targets. The right candidate will have strong sales acumen with proven ability to close sales over the phone coupled with pipeline management experience, a can-do attitude and an excellent phone manner. Main Tasks
- Outbound calling prospects including Online Quote and Buy and ‘Request a call back’ leads
- Inbound call management on Sales hunt-line
- Qualifying and closing new business over the phone in accordance with our Tele Underwriting script
- Prioritize opportunities based on probability to convert
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets to contribute to the overall performance of the individual team
- Achieve daily/weekly call volume attempt targets
- Achieve opportunity to sale conversion targets
- Achieve positive outcome in monthly call audit / compliance scorecards
- Experience using Salesforce for pipeline management
- Conduct follow up leads actioned according to the Direct Sales contact strategy
- Proactively liaise with underwriting and Sales Support regarding missing or further information requested to complete the sales application process
- Experience working in an insurance/compliance landscape and following guidelines for the compliant selling of products
- The ability to understand client’s needs quickly – identifying the correct solution from our Global product range
- Continual training and education to keep pace with product modifications, industry trends/changes and sales knowledge
- Foster positive relationships with relevant internal stakeholders, ensuring best outcome for the client
- Ability to up/cross sell policies where possible
- Participate in projects and testing when required

Experiences Required
- A Business degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two years work experience in a telemarketing role within a Financial Services environment
- A proven track record of inbound and outbound sales within a fast paced, target oriented environment
- Fluent written and spoken English and a second language is preferred for this role, Spanish or Italian
- Completion or significant progression towards the Irish Insurance Examinations or equivalent foreign qualification
- Highly motivated, disciplined and autonomous person
