Role Description
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and eager to make a difference in a global organization? Allianz UK is seeking a skilled Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team.
As Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst you will play a crucial role in informing business areas and information security teams on emerging threats which directly impact their ability to deliver services. This will include writing flash summaries and reports, presenting in forums and integrating into delivery and incident response teams.
Circa ÂŁ68,000 per year.
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop summary documentation and reports on relevant threat intelligence to inform business decision-making. Typically, these with be flash reports for short-notice events and larger-organisational level reports annually
- Seek out business and security opportunities to incorporate threat intelligence into existing and new processes and products to enhance control and decision effectiveness
- Engage with business functions, translating threat intelligence into a story-driven narrative that aligns to their outcomes with the aim of enhancing decision-making
- Interpret, analysis and direct threat intelligence products from providers to align to organisational strategy and wider environmental cyber security factors
- Deputise for the threat intelligence manager, engaging with other Operating Entities, Allianz
- Provide relevant, up to date threat intelligence for the Threat and Risk Assessment (Cyber) annual reporting scenarios.

Experience
- Proven experience in threat intelligence analysis or similar role
- Experience of using threat intelligence tools and techniques to gather, analyse and synthesise this data into actionable information for other parties
- Experience of gathering, analysing and synthesising any data into actionable information for other parties
- Intelligence gathering, analysing and/or synthesising
- Sound understanding of information security control and governance frameworks
- Knowledge of incident management
- Knowledge of offensive cyber exercising (red teaming).
- Knowledge of CBEST
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously
- Ability to manage & influence stakeholders at varying levels.
Qualification
- Certifications such as GIAC, CREST Practitioner Threat Intelligence Analyst or CREST Registered Threat Intelligence Analyst
