We’re looking for a high-performing Senior Underwriter with deep expertise in Property and Casualty to drive growth and deliver results from our Glasgow office. Salary Information
Pay: Circa £55,000 per annum. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
As our Senior P&C Underwriter, you’ll:
- Take ownership of major deals, using your expertise to win and retain strategic accounts that drive growth.
- Develop trusted partnerships with brokers, leveraging collaboration to unlock new opportunities and strengthen market presence.
- Represent the business confidently through face-to-face engagement, networking, and active participation in industry events.
- Support team development by guiding peers, reviewing referrals, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service.
- Work closely with internal departments to streamline processes and deliver seamless, client-focused solutions.
- Act as a reliable point of contact for priority clients, anticipating needs and delivering tailored, responsive support.
Essential skills
- Proven expertise in underwriting complex Property and Casualty risks.
- Track record of dealing with large and/or complex risks and cases.
- Proven ability to manage broker relationships that fuel growth and long-term retention.
