Join Allianz Global Investors' Trade Finance Team, one of the world's leading institutional investors in working capital and trade finance assets. Working alongside experienced portfolio managers and credit analysts, you will evaluate and execute investments across a diverse range of specialty finance asset classes, including trade finance, SME lending, supply chain finance, football transfer receivables, independent film finance, and other niche opportunities. As part of a small entrepreneurial team, you will take ownership from day one. You will conduct credit and investment analysis, contribute directly to investment recommendations, and gain exposure to all aspects of portfolio management, transaction execution, monitoring, and trading. The role is based in our London office.
What You Do
- Perform corporate credit analysis on prospective investments, including financial modelling, cash flow analysis, and the assessment of large datasets.
- Evaluate investment opportunities across a broad range of trade finance, working capital, and specialty finance assets.
- Support transaction origination through due diligence, documentation review, and the preparation of investment recommendations.
- Engage directly with banks, fintech platforms, corporates, and other sourcing partners.
- Contribute to portfolio monitoring, performance reviews, and investor reporting.
What You Bring
- Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Previous internships or work experience in investment, credit, banking, consulting, or a related field.
- Strong interest in investing, private credit, corporate credit analysis, and private markets.
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze complex information and communicate conclusions clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with VBA or other programming languages is an advantage.
- Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices.
