Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement
- Interact with insureds and brokers to support underwriting and service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, underwriters, credit control, claims teams, and global operations partners.
- Act as a primary point of contact to ensure timely and accurate delivery of quotes, policy documentation, and endorsements.
- Check data quality, coordinate on missing information, and manage Estimated Premium Income (EPI) updates.
- Assist in preparing quotes, binder sheets, cover notes, and endorsements.
- Account Management Support for Underwriting
- Review underwriting materials and source documents for completeness (broker presentations, slips, files, account/loss history).
- Resolve gaps and discrepancies in collaboration with brokers and underwriters.
- Provide back-office support for new business and renewals, including quotes and credit checks.
- Support GBO Account Technicians and ensure timely handover to offshore teams for policy setup.
- Policy Administration
- Support quotes and policy setup in core systems.
- Prepare binder sheets and cover notes.
- Coordinate non-standard wordings and update data accurately.
- Finance Support
- Act as a referral point for GBO offshore teams, brokers, and underwriters to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to provide necessary support in financial matters.
- Workflow and Time Management
- Proactively manage and prioritize workload to meet KPIs and service standards.
- Monitor accounts, follow up on outstanding items, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Technical Support
- Use technical systems including Opus, Global Genius, Salesforce, and ServiceNow to support underwriting operations.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and automation initiatives.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in insurance operations, underwriting support, policy administration, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of insurance processes, policy documentation, and underwriting workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- A willingness to learn and explore how AI can enhance your role and the broader organization is expected.
