We’re seeking an experienced Senior Events and Marketing Manager to lead the strategic planning, management, and execution of a diverse portfolio of in‑person, virtual, and hybrid events. This role supports Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty’s business development, client engagement, thought leadership, and brand reputation goals. Acting as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, you’ll ensure events align with commercial priorities and compliance standards while driving innovation in marketing and branding initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver a variety of events (conferences, client events, sponsorships, etc.) from concept to post‑event evaluation.
  • Define objectives, target audiences, and success metrics to maximize ROI.
  • Manage third‑party vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee event budgets, financial reconciliation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Act as a compliance advisor for events and sponsorships, ensuring adherence to Allianz and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with local and global teams to align activities with broader initiatives.
  • Manage event‑related systems (e.g., Salesforce, Cvent), provide training, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Produce post‑event analysis and ROI reports to drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate events and hospitality, preferably in insurance.
  • Proven track record of delivering high‑profile events aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, governance, and reputation management.
  • Experience in global matrix organizations and proficiency in event technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Cvent).
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and analytical skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • A willingness to learn and explore how AI can enhance your role and the broader organization.
  • Degree in Event Management or related field preferred.
