Role Purpose
Reporting to the Regional Commercial Underwriting Director, the Regional Commercial Underwriting Manager (RCUW) plays a critical role in driving the commercial underwriting strategy across APAC for core Short-Term Trade Credit Insurance (STCI). This role is responsible for implementing the group and regional underwriting framework and rules, ensuring portfolio performance and portfolio steering, and maintaining consistent, high-quality policy standards across the region. Working closely with the local Commercial teams and Group Commercial Underwriting (GCUW), the RCUW acts as both a technical expert and a strategic partner. The position combines deep underwriting expertise in STCI with a strong commercial focus, supporting business growth, retention, and profitability while ensuring alignment with Group standards and regional consistency.
