Role Description
You will lead underwriting delivery, driving strong product performance, technical excellence and profitable growth. This is a key leadership role where you will develop underwriting capability with your people while ensuring disciplined, high-quality decision-making aligned to strategy.
Location: This role is based in our London office, please note that this is a hybrid working role with the expectation to attend the office at least 2 days per week.

Pay is dependent on experience, skills and location and is part of our total reward package.
About You
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of underwriters to deliver strong results and high engagement
- Deliver KPI targets across complex cases and portfolios aligned to product strategy
- Use underwriting authority with a clear understanding of profit and loss impact and portfolio performance
- Make key commercial decisions to support profitable growth and strengthen distribution relationships
- Support business development activity in line with distribution segmentation strategy
- Conduct underwriting inspections
