Role Summary We are looking for a Regional Head of Communications based in London.
You will take direct leadership responsibility for the strategic planning, implementation and delivery of communications activities across the new Allianz Commercial UK, Ireland and South Africa region, reporting to the Global Head of Communications and coordinating closely with the Regional President, Managing Director, Marketing and other Communications teams.
The Team You'll be part of a global community of communications professionals, with global and national colleagues working together across media relations, internal and change communications, digital channels, and thought leadership content.

Impact and Responsibilities Provide regional direction and execution of communications activities, liaise with key stakeholders and Global Communications, and oversee budgets for all Allianz Commercial communications across the region.
Lead and coordinate proactive media and external communications, including developing media relations networks, pitching, press releases, media briefings, crisis communications, and digital/social media where relevant.
Oversee internal communications: coordination, management and delivery of internal campaigns, change project communications, news/announcements, briefing notes, newsletters, messaging, copywriting, town halls, and regional intranet content.
Support and contribute to regional and global communications projects, media related activities and ad‐hoc projects.
Mentor and manage junior communications colleagues, coaching staff on media relations and strategy.
Qualifications Strong corporate communications track record with extensive media relations and internal communications experience, ideally in a multi‐country environment or global organisation.
Background in services or B2B preferred; insurance knowledge beneficial but not essential.
Experience in knowledge‐based industries and expertise‐driven communications.
Demonstrated experience with digital and traditional media developments.
Project and change communications experience in a matrix or international environment.
Expertise integrating AI into business functions, enhancing efficiency and fostering data‐driven innovation.
