This position is based in our London office. About the Job The Infrastructure Debt Investments team focuses on direct debt investments in infrastructure and renewable projects and corporates across Europe. The investment scope ranges from "core" infrastructure such as roads and wind farms to "core+" infrastructure including smart meters, fiber, and new energy technologies. This is a 5.5-month placement, subject to candidates' availability, with a start date in July 2026.
What you do
- Participate in the origination, marketing, structuring, and execution of private markets transactions
- Perform due diligence and credit analysis, create or test financial models, and build investment theses for opportunities presented to the investment committee
- Support the team in fundraising for new investment strategies
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and investor due diligence documentation
- Contribute to strategic development initiatives.
What you bring
- In your penultimate or final year of university, or recently graduated
- Expect to achieve a 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level
- Achieved a minimum of 128 UCAS points (or equivalent), including one of the following:
- 3 A-Levels (top 3 grades sat in the same year and first sitting over 2 years)
- 5 Scottish Highers from your fifth year at school
- 32 points for International Baccalaureate
- 75% in your European Baccalaureate
- Strong analytical approach
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Curiosity and willingness to conduct detailed independent research on industries and products
- High attention to detail with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Unquestionable dedication to integrity and ethical decision-making
- Strong desire to learn and continuously develop
- Deep intellectual curiosity and a proactive mindset in finding creative solutions
- Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices.
