Your work will shape underwriting standards, drive sector‑specific innovation, elevate technical capability, and strengthen Allianz Commercial’s global footprint. Through your leadership, you will enhance products, improve pricing discipline, elevate customer solutions, and support the next generation of underwriting excellence across all regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translating global Property strategy into clear, sector‑specific underwriting strategies for high‑challenge industries.
  • Defining global business appetite, underwriting frameworks and tools.
  • Steering global portfolio balance, monitoring performance, and ensuring financial targets are achieved.
  • Identifying market trends, claims insights, and competitive developments to refine global underwriting principles.
  • Leading global product development initiatives and supporting enhancements to pricing tools and guidelines.
  • Representing the Property LoB in internal and external meetings, trainings, and market‑facing activities.
  • Acting as the global expert for assigned challenging industries, including managing complex referrals and monitoring profitability.
  • Shaping global policy wording standards, including leading AI‑driven policy wording tool development.
  • Partnering with the Global Multinational Team to enhance technical excellence and multinational program delivery.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills across senior stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive global, cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Experience working in multinational environments with a global mindset.
  • Understanding of multinational programs, global products, and complex coverage structures.
  • Comfort with digital transformation, underwriting tools, and innovation initiatives.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • The ability to ensure ethical AI practices and stay updated with emerging AI technologies will be key to maintaining a competitive advantage.
