This job is with Allianz Commercial, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. Reporting to the Global Head of Qualitative Risk Management, you drive the implementation and continuous improvement of global risk management practices across Allianz Partners. You ensure effective risk processes aligned with the global framework and regulatory requirements, working closely with first and second line stakeholders and LoB risk teams.

What you do In this role, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate qualitative risk topics globally
  • Act as a central point of contact for risk matters
  • Identify, assess, monitor, and report business risks
  • Support internal control framework and risk programs (e.g. financial, IT, compliance, operations)
  • Provide risk advisory for projects and strategic initiatives
  • Monitor regulatory changes and emerging risk trends
  • Drive risk assessments, escalation, and mitigation actions
  • Promote risk culture and deliver risk training
  • Contribute to (and lead where relevant) Global ERM Centres of Competence
  • Support global risk initiatives (Top Risk Assessment, NFRM, ITRM)
  • Engage stakeholders, including senior management and auditors

What you bring:

  • 4+ years' experience in corporate risk management
  • Degree in business, finance, or related field (or equivalent)
  • Relevant certification (risk management, audit, accounting)
  • Strong knowledge of ERM and internal control frameworks
  • Understanding of Solvency II and quantitative risk
  • Proficient in MS Office tools
  • Fluent in English
