Key Responsibilities:
- Assist underwriters in reviewing and analyzing insurance applications
- Support risk assessment and evaluation processes
- Help prepare underwriting reports and documentation
- Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, and risk factors
- Maintain and update underwriting databases and records
- Support the team in preparing presentations and client materials
- Assist with portfolio analysis and reporting
- Provide ad hoc support if needed
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good command of English (written and verbal)
- A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential
- Available for a 3-month internship period (June - August)
