This Internship is based in London for a duration of 5 months starting from September 2026.
We are seeking an Intern to join the European Private Credit (EPC) team within the Private Markets function. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across private credit investment activities, supporting the team in evaluating transactions, conducting financial analysis, preparing investment materials, and contributing to market research initiatives. You will work closely with investment professionals in a fast-paced and collaborative environment while developing a strong understanding of direct lending and private credit markets.
What You Will Do
- Screen investment opportunities and support transaction evaluation processes
- Conduct financial analysis, credit assessment, and financial modelling activities
- Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and supporting documentation
- Perform market research and industry analysis to support investment decisions
- Process and manage NDAs and assist with transaction-related administrative activities
- Collaborate with team members across a variety of direct lending transactions, including senior and unitranche opportunities.
What You Bring
- Prior experience in one or more of the following areas: Private Equity, Private Credit, M&A, Structured Finance, Leveraged Finance, Debt Advisory, or Transaction Services
- Experience in financial modelling, financial analysis, and/or credit risk analysis
- Strong academic track record
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Eagerness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proactive mindset with the flexibility to contribute beyond day-to-day responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Bloomberg experience is an advantage
- Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices.
