We are looking for an Events and Marketing Apprentice to join our London-based Communications and Marketing team at Allianz Commercial AGCS, starting mid September 2026. If you are completing A-levels or BTECs in May/June 2026 then please read on.

Opportunity

Our Apprenticeship is the perfect opportunity to start your career in Events and Marketing with a global company operating in the dynamic and thriving insurance industry. Starting in September 2026 and lasting two years, our Events and Marketing Apprentice program will give you the opportunity to develop a range of skills while working in our Communications and Marketing team. In addition to on-the-job development, you’ll spend 20% of your time participating in a Level 3 Event Assistant apprenticeship course. This opportunity won’t just help you get started – it’ll give you a head start, too!

Your Team

Our Communications and Marketing team look after internal and external communications including media and websites, digital and marketing materials as well as overseeing a very packed schedule of events. During your apprenticeship you will support our Event Manager with the delivery of our comprehensive event program throughout the year. You will learn all elements of events management and gain a great grounding in this field.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the planning, delivery and analysis of events for the London teams, including hospitality events, thought leadership events, insurance industry events and employee activities.
  • Resourcing and sourcing venues.
  • Assistance with event budget planning and invoicing.
  • Setting up event landing pages and email invites, alongside managing invitation lists and responses.
  • Post-event analysis and surveys.
  • Support for email newsletter production – internally and externally.
  • Posting to the company intranet.

  • A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.

Eligibility

This position is designed for, and ideally suited to, school leavers holding 3 A-levels (or equivalent). It is not suitable for those with a bachelor's degree and above. You must have achieved Level 2 in English and Maths (equivalent to GCSE grade 9-4/ A*-C). To comply with the apprenticeship eligibility rules, at the start of the apprenticeship, you must be aged 18 or over, living in England, not in full-time education and have the right to work in the UK.
