About Us
At Aico, we are transforming the way people interact with their homes. Our mission is to create safer, healthier, and more sustainable homes by connecting devices, data, and people. We are a values-driven organisation, committed to delivering measurable social and environmental impact for communities across the UK.
The Role
The Associate Product Marketing Manager will coordinate how we launch and communicate HomeLINK products to customers, partners, and the wider market. You will keep track of what is launching, when, ensure messaging is clear and compelling, and support the teams who bring products to life, from sales enablement to campaign execution. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role within our Market & Product Insight function, working closely with product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
This is a new role within a new team. You will have significant influence over working practices, launch processes, and documentation standards. But you won’t be doing this alone – you will have the backing of an established marketing team with design support, content resources, and experienced colleagues. This combination of autonomy and support is rare at Associate level. If you are early in your career with a strong interest in technology and smart homes, and you are curious about how products get to market, this role will give you that foundation.
Key Responsibilities
- Launch Coordination & Sequencing: Maintain the product marketing roadmap, tracking upcoming launches, updates, features, insights, and success stories. Plan and sequence launches to avoid saturation and ensure appropriate spacing. Build realistic timelines and feed launch plans into events, campaigns, and partner activities.
- Messaging & Content Support: Develop messaging frameworks – core narratives, key messages, and positioning for the marketing team to execute. Plan build-up activity: teasers, partnerships, social content, and PR angles beyond simple announcements. Create sales enablement materials: pitch decks, one-pager, FAQs, and competitive positioning. Contribute to SME pieces and provide technical accuracy checks for marketing content.
- Product Expertise & Internal Support: Develop deep HomeLINK expertise to support marketing, sales, customer success, and leadership, working alongside specialists in TEC, decarbonisation, and disrepair use cases. Support thematic campaigns with product context, data points, and customer stories. Brief designers, copywriters, and agencies on product details and attend product reviews to stay current.
What You’ll Bring
- Recent graduate or early-career professional (0-2 years) with a background in marketing, business, communications, or STEM.
- Strong interest in technology and smart homes, genuine curiosity about how IoT and data are transforming how we live.
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to explain complex topics simply.
- Strong organisational skills – you can track multiple moving parts and manage timelines effectively.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a collaborative, proactive approach.
Desirable
- Internship or placement in product marketing, product management, or technical marketing.
- Knowledge of social housing, IoT, PropTech, or connected home technology.
- Experience creating presentations, sales materials, or product documentation.
What You’ll Learn
- How to translate technical features into customer benefits and commercial value.
- How to plan and execute product launches end-to-end.
- How to develop positioning and messaging that differentiates products.
- How to create sales enablement materials that help sales influence decisions.
- How to work cross-functionally and use market intelligence to inform decisions.
Salary & Benefits
£30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, plus company benefits.
How to Apply
Send your CV and a short cover note (300-500 words) explaining:
- Why you are interested in product marketing specifically.
- What you understand about the difference between this role and traditional marketing.
- An example of coordinating multiple moving parts or explaining something complex to different audiences.
We are looking for thoughtfulness and self-awareness, not perfect experience. We are hiring for potential and learning agility, not a specific background.
