Team Responsibilities
The candidate will manage the following
- Trade Support
- Allocation of Equity, Fixed Income and Derivative transactions.
- Confirmation of Equity, Fixed Income and Derivatives
- Time sensitive security creation and validation for Fixed Income new issue trading.
- New market due diligence
- Resolution of Portfolio Management and Trade related queries.
- Risk analysis of departmental processes and procedures.
- Participation in global internal working groups and functional service level forums.
- Compilation and review of confirmation metrics
- Settlement of EMEA Equity and Fixed Income trading
- Interest and Coupon Claim Resolution
- Compilation and review of Settlements and Claims metrics
- Additional management duties
- Lead regular formal Broker Reviews
- Lead formal Custodian Reviews.
- Attend relevant Industry Forums.
- Lead projects and initiatives
- Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have the following
- Degree level education preferred
- IAQ or IMC or professional qualification preferred
- Five years proven experience gained in a Financial Operations environment with a good understanding of Front to Back operational processes.
- Good product knowledge and sound understanding of Markets and Settlements
- Experience with International Market practices, rules, and regulations.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to take direction as needed as well as being able to work independently and proactively.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilities, think independently, evaluate potential risks, and elevate items appropriately.
