About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in enhancing and supporting our high-performance financial platforms, including Calypso and Broadridge SFCM. What You’ll Be Doing
- Innovate & Enhance: Take ownership of the Calypso and Broadridge SFCM platforms, driving technical improvements that shape the future of these platforms. You’ll have the opportunity to build, optimize, and transform critical systems serving middle, front and back office users.
- Lead Technical Excellence: Provide leadership, expertise, and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them in best practices for high-performance code and systems architecture.
- Solve Complex Challenges: Use your deep technical expertise to tackle complex, mission-critical issues and help us stay ahead of the curve in a fast-evolving financial technology landscape.

What We’re Looking For
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java and Python with a deep understanding of UNIX environments. You know how to optimize code, solve problems, and build robust systems.
- Calypso API: Experience with Calypso API and integration techniques to enhance the platform’s functionality.
- Messaging & Frameworks: Expertise in Java libraries for MQ, Advanced knowledge of XML/XSLT, frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
- Database Mastery: Extensive experience with Oracle PL/SQL as well as familiarity with MS SQL Server.
- C# Knowledge: Basic knowledge of C# to assist in integrating or supporting C#-based systems as needed.
- Solid background in the financial industry, with an understanding of business processes and financial systems.
- Financial Expertise: Knowledge of financial derivatives, collateral management, and fixed income markets would be a huge advantage.
