Who You’ll Work With:
You will join AllianceBernstein’s Client Group as part of the UK Retail Team, which services a broad range of wholesale clients including banks, platforms and other distributors. The team consists of Client Directors (Advisors) and Associates who work closely with multiple internal partners across the firm. In this role, you will support all members of this fast‑paced team, gaining day‑to‑day exposure to five Advisors and working alongside an Associate focused on the UK retail business.
What You’ll Do:
As a trainee within the Client Group, you will support the team’s day‑to‑day activities while building a strong foundation in investment management. Your responsibilities will include assisting Advisors and Associates with client queries, preparing data and presentations for client meetings and events, and supporting a range of projects such as data gathering, performance reporting and market intelligence. You will also provide administrative support, including the production of weekly and monthly team reports, and ensure that the firm’s Client Relationship Management system (Salesforce) is accurately maintained and kept up to date. Throughout the role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams including product management, product strategy, performance, marketing, legal and compliance, and operations.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a motivated and curious individual with a strong interest in financial services, ideally someone who has recently completed A‑levels or BTECs. You should be a strong team player who is also comfortable working independently, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively. A willingness to learn, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to interpret and synthesise information are essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive, “can‑do” attitude, clear written and verbal communication skills, and a genuine ambition to grow and develop within the role and the wider investment management industry.
