Job Title : Contracts Manager – Decorating Contractors (Cambridgeshire)
Company Overview :
Our client is a well-established and respected decorating contractor with a strong reputation in the High-End Domestic, Commercial, and Industrial sectors. As a growing business, they are looking to expand their team by hiring an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee and manage multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as the primary point of contact for end-user clients, managing projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with site supervision teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful handovers.
- Contribute to the development and management of project schedules and timelines.
- Assist in the pricing and budgeting of projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards maintained.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures at all stages of the project.
Ideal Candidate :
- A time-served decorator with at least 3 years of site management experience, or experience in a similar role within the construction or fit-out sectors.
- Minimum SSSTS qualification required.
- Proficient in using computers and familiar with project management software.
- Proven experience managing multiple sites or projects at the same time.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a focus on maintaining strong client relationships.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a “can-do” approach to problem-solving.
