Alliance is seeking an Interim Patient Safety Associate for a 15 month fixed term contract from December 2025 to support all aspects of Patient Safety relating to the management of all products and thereby ensure Patient Safety and commercial success. This full time role requires you to be based in Chippenham in Wiltshire 2 days a week, we are near the train station and 5 miles from M4.
What you’ll be doing as an Interim Patient Safety Associate:
- Ensuring the safety database is maintained and accurate. This includes data entry and/or QC, report and metrics generation, and possibly administrative rights.
- Supporting the preparation, submission and tracking of documents and analysing / transforming data into the relevant format (signal detection, PSUR, CCDS management).
- Supporting and being responsible for the maintenance of pharmacovigilance system master file (PSMF).
- Supporting and being responsible for the maintenance of safety contracts.
- Supporting and being responsible for other safety projects.
- Supporting and being responsible for departmental QMS activities.
- Input into ongoing training and professional development activities to fulfil departmental goals and objectives.
- Training of others which may include mentoring.
- Identifying issues / proposing solutions/ and implementation.
- Providing technical knowledge.
- Understanding of external environment.
- Understanding best practise and making recommendations.
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Life Sciences.
- Experience in the pharmacovigilance industry.
- Proven experience working with a safety database such as ARISg/LSMV or Argus.
- Experience in post-marketing case processing, expedited reporting and literature monitoring.
- Comprehensive understanding of drug safety regulations, medical device regulation and cosmetovigilance.
