Are you highly organised, detail‑driven, and ready to keep a global supply chain moving? We’re looking for a Global Logistics Coordinator to join our Global Operations team in Chippenham, UK – 2 days a week, and play a key role in ensuring that customers around the world receive the right products, on time, every time. This role, you’ll collaborate closely with our planning, distribution, finance, and customer service teams to manage the order-to-cash process, coordinate shipments, oversee inventory, and support data-driven logistics performance.
What you’ll be doing
- Transportation & Logistics Coordination
- Arrange parcel and LTL shipments by coordinating with freight carriers.
- Prepare Bills of Lading and ensure all shipping documents are accurate and complete.
- Identify shipment consolidation opportunities to optimise costs and improve retailer scorecards.
- Shipment Tracking & Issue Resolution
- Monitor shipments across multiple carriers (FedEx, UPS, LTL providers).
- Investigate delays, shortages, damages, and missing shipments.
- Request PODs and manage freight claims with carriers and the 3PL.
- Customer Service & Retailer Support
- Respond to customer enquiries on order status, discrepancies, and delivery confirmations.
- Resolve customer issues collaboratively with internal and external partners.
- Inventory Monitoring & Fulfilment Planning
- Maintain shipment and inventory trackers.
- Monitor finished goods inventory at the 3PL and Amazon Seller Central.
- Coordinate replenishment to avoid stockouts and support demand.
- Data Management, Reporting & KPI Tracking
- Maintain operational trackers and create KPI reports (e.g., retailer OTIF, fulfilment performance).
- Analyse gaps between retailer scorecards and 3PL data.
- Financial & Audit Support
- Work with Finance and Accounting to research deductions and pricing discrepancies.
- Support invoicing via SPS Commerce.
- Provide documentation for audits, freight claims, and month-end reconciliation.
- Order Management & Processing
- Manage end-to-end order processing across EDI, SPS Commerce, and manual orders.
- Validate, edit, and upload sales orders into D365 with accuracy and timeliness.
- Order Fulfilment & 3PL Coordination
- Serve as the key operational contact for our third-party logistics partner.
- Ensure accurate order processing, inventory visibility, and timely shipments.
- Monitor orders against SLAs and resolve fulfilment issues.
What we’re looking for
- Some experience in supply chain or logistics.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially advanced Excel (data manipulation essential).
- Excellent organisation, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Comfortable using customer/supplier web‑based portals to retrieve and manage data.
- Experience with e-commerce logistics (especially Amazon seller shipping, replenishment, and tracking) is a plus.
