We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wet Sprayer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying spray paint coatings to various metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. Experience in powder coating would be beneficial.
Days/ hours of work: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4.45pm
Responsibilities:
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking prior to coating application
- Operate spraying equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring consistent application of finishes
- Maintain and troubleshoot spray booths and related machinery
- Inspect finished products for quality, colour consistency, and surface defects
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times
- Assist with the setup stations as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in wet spraying/painting (industrial, automotive, or similar)
- Strong understanding of paint preparation, mixing ratios, and application techniques
- Ability to read job sheets, specifications, and technical instructions
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to health & safety procedures
