We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Van Driver/Forklift Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day warehouse and delivery operations. They will be responsible for handling materials, preparing orders, loading/unloading vehicles, and ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods through all stages of storage, picking, and dispatch.
Duties:
- Carry out multi-drop and long-distance deliveries in a professional and timely manner.
- Represent the company on customer sites with excellent communication and customer service.
- Safely handle and deliver heavy products (items weighing up to 50kg).
- Perform loading/unloading duties in the warehouse and support day-to-day operations.
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck for picking orders, loading pallets, and preparing goods for dispatch.
- Use a smartphone for navigation, delivery confirmations, and basic communication tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience in multi-drop deliveries and long-distance driving.
- Comfortable with manual handling and capable of lifting heavy items.
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
- Clean UK driving licence with no major endorsements.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality.
- Confident, professional communicator with a positive, team-focused attitude.
