Tool Maker

Alliance Personnel are currently recruiting for a tool maker to join one of their engineering companies based in Birmingham. Duties will include: * Assist in production of tooling drawings with the jig/ tool personal to specify the exact requirements using acquired knowledge from course content to assist; * Update tooling register where required, identify (engrave) and segregate tooling by m/c. * Assist with carrying out tooling repairs and tooling configuration which requires working to tight deadline, * Provide manufacturing support by assisting in the develop of tooling for CNC machining and any other machining. * Assist manufacturing with processing and production issues around tooling. * Preparation of raw materials (blocking) in order for the engineers to continue with making the tooling to the desired specification * Team oriented with the ability to work effectivity with cross-functional and diverse work groups. * Maintaining a safe working environment. * Any adhoc duties required in your role. Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm , Friday 7am – 12pm (39hrs per week) TEMP – PERM
