Alliance Personnel are currently seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join one of their clients based in Birmingham, B1. The ideal candidate will have experience in TIG welding and a strong mechanical aptitude. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to their manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding
- Utilise power tools for cutting and shaping materials
- Operate stick welding equipment as needed
- Assemble and fabricate metal parts according to specifications
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Use basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Employ hand tools effectively for welding tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience in TIG welding
- Ability to weld and fabricate metal components accurately
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and maintenance
- Skills test required
Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am - 12pm - 39hrs per week + overtime
