Storesperson (Warehouse)

We are seeking a Storesperson for a Manufacturing company based close to central Birmingham. This role will mainly involve warehouse/stores duties and using counterbalance forklift. On occasion, it will also involve van driving. This is a temp to perm position, with permanency secured after 12 weeks of a successful probationary period. Role Duties : * Labelling, picking and packing of items. * Counterbalance Forklift work – using forklift to unload deliveries and stock in to correct location in Stores. Loading products in to van/lorry for despatch. * Van Driving – every now and again there will be a requirement for delivery driving work. This will be infrequent and will mostly be as cover for holidays/sickness. Candidate Requirements : * Previous experience in a Warehouse/Stores role. * Valid Forklift Counterbalance license. * Previous experience working a Forklift Counterbalance. * Full UK Driving License. * Previous van driving experience. * Can work well on own initiative and as part of a team. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 730am to 4pm, early finish Fridays. Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm Pay: £12.60 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week
