An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Operative to support the installation and maintenance of security and access control systems on construction sites. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, computer literate, and keen to develop their skills within a growing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing and maintaining turnstiles, barriers, and site access control systems.
  • Assisting with the setup and operation of security equipment.
  • Using software and mobile applications to update records and complete job documentation.
  • Carrying out basic troubleshooting and reporting equipment faults.
  • Supporting site teams with system maintenance and equipment checks.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and mobile devices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems and technology quickly.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Experience in construction, security systems, or access control equipment is desirable but not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence desirable.
  • CSCS card advantageous but not essential.
