We are seeking a skilled and passionate Silversmith to join one of our clients.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of silversmithing techniques and a keen eye for detail.

This role involves designing, crafting, and finishing silver items, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. The Silversmith will work collaboratively with other artisans and contribute to the overall aesthetic and functionality of our products.

Duties

  • Design and create unique silver pieces, including jewellery, utensils, and decorative items.
  • Operate various tools and equipment used in silversmithing, such as hammers, anvils, and soldering irons.
  • Perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, soldering, polishing, and finishing silver products.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop new designs and improve existing products.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished items to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance skills and product offerings.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am till 1pm

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Silversmith or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Saw piercing & filing
  • Soldering
  • Strong knowledge of silversmithing techniques and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a creative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues during the crafting process.
  • A passion for craftsmanship and an appreciation for fine details in metalwork.
