Alliance Personnel are seeking a talented and creative Screen Printer to join one of our clients based in Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual screen and digital printing, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality printed materials. As a Screen Printer, you will be responsible for preparing screens, mixing inks, and operating printing equipment to create vibrant designs on various substrates.

Duties:

  • Prepare screens by coating them with emulsion and exposing them to light for image transfer.
  • Mix inks to achieve desired colours and consistency for printing.
  • Operate screen printing presses, ensuring accurate registration and quality control throughout the printing process.
  • Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Maintain and clean printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Assist in the design process using software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques in screen printing and graphic design.
  • Operating Rota roll and flat bed machines.

Experience:

  • Proficiency in graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience in screen printing or a related field is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Working 38hrs per week, starting at 7am Monday to Thursday, with an early finish on Friday.
