Alliance Personnel are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Operative to join one of their clients based in Birmingham.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the facility by performing various tasks that support production processes.
This position requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Operate Vacuum forming machinery and equipment as required, following all safety protocols.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Support the production team by preparing materials and supplies for manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement in operational processes.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
