We’re working with a well-established civil engineering specialist delivering roads, drainage, and infrastructure solutions across residential developments, supporting projects from design through to completion and adoption. With over 20 years of experience and nine regional offices, they partner with residential developers, housing associations, and public bodies to deliver fixed-cost adoption packages from design through to completion.
This is an opportunity for a Civil Engineer to step into a role with real ownership and clear progression. You’ll be working closely with developers and local authorities, playing a key role in progressing Roads Construction Consent (RCC) and adoption agreements through to completion. Whether you’re looking to step up or take on more responsibility, this role offers a structured pathway into an Engineering Manager position as the business expands in Scotland.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing Roads Construction Consent (RCC) and Scottish Water adoption agreements across live projects
- Acting as a key technical contact for developers, local authorities, and utilities
- Overseeing site inspections, technical submissions, and approval processes
- Identifying and resolving technical or legal blockers to keep projects moving
- Acting as a mentor for junior engineers and contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Playing a part in the continued growth of the regional business
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in civil engineering within residential development, infrastructure, utilities, or local authority environments
- Exposure to roads, drainage, or adoption processes (RCC / Scottish Water is a plus, not essential)
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Someone who can work autonomously while contributing to a team
- Ambition to grow into a more senior or management-level role
